Photographing the older child or teenager often requires a different approach as this is often the age where they feel the most uncomfortable in front of the camera. If the teenager has an interest or hobby this can be an ideal time to photograph them, at ease and having fun unaware they are being photographed. Fantastic images can be taken outdoors while they enjoy them themselves, doing sports, hanging with friends, walking the dog or even at home doing things they enjoy most.
Alycia wanted to have her photo shoot at home and like all girls who love clothes she had a few changes of outfits and accessories to try out. We started with a few simple shots using the lovely canvasses her Mum has on the walls as a colourful backdrop.
